This collection of works is informed by a sustained practice in, and exploration of, Life Drawing. It is characterised by rich, expressive, gestural marks, often offset by subtle shifting tonal elements. The works are intentionally playful and suggestive, employing contrasting features to entice the eye to meander and traverse the surface of the image.
Artistic influences include; Frank Auerbach, Richard Diebenkorn, Brett Whiteley, Tracey Emin, Jenny Saville.
